Yorkshire Bank current accounts can offer you 24 hour access to your account via 24 Hour Telephone Banking* and Internet Banking*. As well as a multi-function card**, regular statements, overdrafts** and convenient banking hours.

Important Information

#Savings Account Plus is only available with Current Account Plus and is operated via Yorkshire Bank's 24 Hour Telephone Banking and/or Internet Banking Service only. These services may be temporarily unavailable during periods of routine maintenance. It is not possible to deposit or withdraw funds directly from your Savings Account Plus at any branch. For Savings Account Plus, the interest rate is variable. Interest is calculated on a daily basis and credited quarterly in arrears. Identification will be required to open an account.

*24 Hour Telephone Banking and Internet Banking may be temporarily unavailable due to periods of routine maintenance. For security and training purposes calls may be monitored or recorded.

** All credit facilities are subject to status and applicants must be aged 18 or over. Written quotations available on request. The multi-function card is subject to status and applicants must be aged 18 or over.

Yorkshire Bank is a trading name of Clydesdale Bank PLC which is a member of the Financial Services Compensation Scheme established under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000.  You may be entitled to compensation from the scheme if we cannot meet our obligations.  This depends on the type of business and the circumstances of the claim.

In respect of deposits with a UK office, payments under the Scheme are limited to 100% of the first £2,000 of a depositor's total credit balances with the Bank and 90% of the next £33,000, resulting in a maximum payment of £31,700.

If you are not happy with any aspect of our service, please request a copy of our internal complaint handling procedure. Our aim is to resolve complaints to the satisfaction of our customers.
