Do I have to be a Yorkshire Bank customer?
Yes, you need to be an existing customer to apply online as you will need to make payments from a Yorkshire Bank account. If you are not currently banking with us and would like to apply for a loan give us a call on 0800 707 6471 (Monday - Friday 8.00am - 8.00pm, Saturday 9.00am - 5.00pm) or come in a see us at your nearest branch (opens in a new window).
How much money can I borrow from Yorkshire Bank?
With a Personal Loan, you can borrow between £1,000 and £25,000.
How long can I have to repay the Personal Loan?
We pride ourselves on our ability to be flexible and provide tailor made solutions that fit your lifestyle. We let you tell us how quickly you want to repay your loan, that way you can repay over a period that is best for you. Your loan repayment can vary from 1 year up to 7 years, depending on your chosen loan amount and your loan purpose.

How quickly can I find out if my online application has been successful?

What happens to my online application when I submit it?
Once you submit an online application form, we will process it and reply to you with a decision by telephone. If successful, we will send you the relevant documents which you then sign and return along with any supporting documentation if required (e.g. wage slips). When we have received these, the money is paid into your account.
